This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the strategic vision and growth of the Multi-Party Project Coordination & Liability Management practice.
• Formulate and implement annual growth objectives, market initiatives, and account strategies.
• Recognize emerging client demands, regulatory changes, and market prospects.
• Collaborate across remediation, engineering, compliance, risk, and technical fields to deliver integrated solutions.
• Set expectations for service quality, project delivery, knowledge sharing, and accountability.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities through established industry relationships.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with corporate clients, PRP groups, legal advisors, regulators, developers, and strategic partners.
• Lead capture planning, proposal development, interviews, teaming strategies, and client presentations.
• Offer expert-level guidance for intricate Superfund, CERCLA, RCRA, and environmental liability management projects.
• Counsel project teams on strategy, governance, stakeholder alignment, budget, schedule, risk, and regulatory interactions.
• Engage in key meetings and negotiations.
• Review strategic plans, proposals, scopes, budgets, schedules, reports, and other high-impact deliverables.
• Address complex technical, commercial, contractual, and stakeholder challenges.
• Mentor Project Coordinators, Project Managers, and emerging leaders.
• Develop a sustainable leadership pipeline and promote scalable tools and consistent project coordination practices.
• Encourage a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive culture in a remote-first work setting.
• Maintain an active involvement in professional associations and industry networks.
• Contribute to presentations, articles, panels, workshops, and other thought leadership endeavors.
• Track industry trends and translate them into service offerings, pursuit strategies, and staff development priorities.
• Over 20 years of progressively responsible experience in environmental consulting, legal, corporate environmental, engineering, or related fields.
• Proven leadership in complex environmental remediation, Superfund, CERCLA, RCRA, or environmental liability programs.
• Direct experience with multi-party sites, stakeholder-driven initiatives, PRP groups, or similar governance frameworks.
• Established professional relationships and credibility within the environmental remediation and liability management sector.
• Demonstrated success in business development, expanding client relationships, and converting opportunities into contracts.
• Experience collaborating directly with corporate clients, legal counsel, regulators, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Strong skills in executive communication, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation.
• Ability to lead and influence multidisciplinary, geographically dispersed teams without relying solely on formal authority.
• Strategic judgment and commercial acumen.
• Capability to translate client challenges into actionable solutions.
• Commitment to mentoring others and building sustainable organizational capacity.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• A Bachelor's degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, hydrogeology, environmental policy, business, law, or a related discipline is required.
