This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement and operationalize the enterprise AI strategy, ensuring it aligns with business priorities and delivers measurable outcomes.
• Promote the design, adoption, and expansion of AI platforms (ML, GenAI, MLOps, LLMOps) across clinical, regulatory, and operational areas.
• Lead the prioritization of AI initiatives, balancing immediate delivery with the long-term evolution of the platform.
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders to convert business needs into scalable AI solutions.
• Develop and expand enterprise-wide architectures for AI model development, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee the implementation and ongoing enhancement of AI platform infrastructure and pipelines.
• Ensure seamless integration of AI platforms with the enterprise data and technology ecosystems.
• Establish and uphold Responsible AI frameworks that include model validation, bias mitigation, explainability, and auditability.
• Create AI governance structures that comply with regulatory frameworks (GxP, ALCOA+, data integrity).
• Build, lead, and grow high-performing, globally distributed AI engineering teams.
• Guide workforce planning, resource allocation, and capability development in AI engineering.
• Collaborate across functions with product, data, compliance, and IT teams.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships and AI-related third-party platforms.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor, which may occasionally differ from the described position.
• Over 10 years of experience in AI/ML, data engineering, or advanced analytics.
• More than 7 years of leadership experience managing global engineering or AI teams.
• Proven experience in building and scaling AI and ML platforms within production environments.
• Demonstrated capability to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives that yield measurable results.
• In-depth knowledge of ML, NLP, and Generative AI technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience in managing vendors and distributed/offshore teams.
• Understanding of MLOps and LLMOps practices.
• Experience in regulated environments is strongly preferred.
