Senior Digital Application Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Assess, develop, modify, code, and test software applications with a primary focus on CAD tools.

• Provide assistance for internal programming requirements at Daikin Applied and support application users.

• Analyze, test, and troubleshoot software applications.

• Document, assess, and enhance existing programs or design logic for new software solutions.

• Aid in the design, programming, or testing phases of applications.

• Develop and maintain various CAD software applications.

• Create logical procedures, design flowcharts, and execute coding tasks.

• Reference and comprehend application and system documentation to inform design, testing, and programming efforts.

• Document and review software, including installation and maintenance procedures.

• Cultivate expertise in installation, design, configuration, and specialized testing processes.

• Utilize knowledge of user operations, IT standards, processes, and specialized application training.

• Provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvements.

• Collaborate within a larger team and offer support to less experienced team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field of experience.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development.

• At least 2 years of experience in CAD software development.

• This position does not offer work visa sponsorship.

• Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of pre-employment requirements, which include verification of employment history, education, background checks, and drug testing where allowed by law.

• Preferred: Over 6 years of experience in application and software development.

• Preferred: More than 4 years of experience in CAD software development.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Helix Toolkit.
