This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Promote and sell diagnostic instruments, tests, and associated services within a designated territory while meeting sales targets.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships to enhance retention and overall customer satisfaction.
• Acquire knowledge of product offerings and competitive positioning in the market.
• Engage in daily customer interactions with both existing clients and potential new business opportunities.
• Travel extensively and occasionally require overnight stays within the assigned territory.
• Articulate the uses, advantages, and value propositions of products through effective demonstrations and presentations.
• Obtain purchase orders and manage sales opportunities through the sales pipeline.
• Oversee post-sale onboarding, installation assistance, validation processes, and customer training.
• Recognize customer challenges and implement enhancements to their workflow.
• Provide both onsite and remote support, including troubleshooting and coordination of escalations.
• Keep detailed CRM records of customer interactions and outcomes.
• Generate leads and referrals, which may include competitive placements as well as opportunities in academia and research.
• Work collaboratively with sales, accounting, and technical support teams.
• Associate’s degree is required or equivalent relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of proven sales experience is necessary.
• Relevant technical or clinical experience, ideally in medical, scientific, healthcare, or veterinary environments.
• Preferably, at least 1 year of experience working in a clinical setting.
• A degree from a veterinary technology program and/or a credentialed veterinary technician background is preferred.
• Strong capability in technical sales and the ability to comprehend and apply technical information.
• Proficiency in veterinary terminology, science, and diagnostic instrumentation/workflows.
• Exceptional presentation and training abilities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, time management, and CRM documentation skills.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service, make independent decisions, and follow through with tasks.
• Capacity to work collaboratively across various functions.
• Must be able to safely lift and transport up to 60 lbs.
• A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and auto insurance are required.
• Fluent English speaking skills are essential.
