Senior DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of supply chain and logistics software for a federal health client.

• Take charge of the CI/CD architecture for a product line, overseeing everything from source control strategy to production deployment.

• Integrate automated security, quality, and compliance checks into pipelines.

• Establish infrastructure-as-code standards and assess changes against these benchmarks.

• Reduce build and deployment times while eliminating manual workflow steps.

• Guide engineers in pipeline management and elevate delivery standards across various teams.

• Collaborate directly with customer stakeholders and delivery teams.

• Maintain ownership of the technical direction while remaining closely aligned with implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and over 18 years of experience in software delivery, platform management, or DevSecOps engineering.

• Proven ownership of CI/CD architecture for a system or product line.

• Practical experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) in a production environment.

• Familiarity with container orchestration using Kubernetes in a regulated setting.

• Experience with embedding automated security scanning into a pipeline that controls releases.

• Knowledge of hardening to STIG baselines and supporting security accreditation, including planning builds around accreditation schedules, evidence scanning, and remediation.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation (Public Trust).

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Must have resided in the United States for at least 3 years.
