Senior DevOps/FinOps Engineer – Cybersecurity Platform

📋 Description

• Acquire an in-depth knowledge of intricate, high-traffic infrastructure systems and services.

• Evaluate distributed systems and legacy components to pinpoint inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.

• Create and sustain visibility into infrastructure costs, encompassing reporting pipelines and dashboards.

• Recognize and execute both short-term and long-term initiatives for infrastructure optimization.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to present and implement technical enhancements.

• Oversee optimization initiatives from inception to execution and validation of impact.

• Enhance infrastructure scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

• Contribute to practices related to Infrastructure-as-Code and automation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of practical DevOps experience in high-traffic production settings.

• Strong hands-on expertise in FinOps, infrastructure cost optimization, and reporting.

• Comprehensive understanding of cloud infrastructure cost factors and optimization tactics.

• Experience in presenting technical proposals and optimization projects to engineering leadership.

• Solid hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.

• Production-level experience with Kubernetes.

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, preferably Terraform.

• Familiarity with observability and monitoring solutions.

• Practical experience with Helm.

• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.

• Experience in multi-cloud environments.

• Background in cybersecurity, fraud prevention, trust & safety, or application protection.

• Hands-on experience with Looker.

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.

• A proactive and self-motivated mindset.

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Capability to work independently in high-autonomy settings.

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.

• A strategic and systems-thinking mindset.

• Ability to balance immediate improvements with long-term technical strategy.
