DevOps Engineer – Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Lead the migration of workloads from AWS to Azure utilizing an AKS-first approach.

• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code for Azure environments.

• Migrate, enhance, and standardize CI/CD pipelines.

• Refactor outdated infrastructure into cloud-native architectures on Azure.

• Create effective downtime and rollback strategies to minimize disruption during migration.

• Optimize cloud environments for cost-efficiency, performance, and scalability.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to modernize deployment processes.

• Document migration methodologies and develop reusable templates for the wider team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of dedicated experience in DevOps and Cloud engineering.

• Strong practical knowledge of Azure, including AKS, networking, IAM, and monitoring.

• Strong practical knowledge of AWS, encompassing EC2, EKS, IAM, and networking.

• Proven skillset in Infrastructure as Code, preferably using Terraform.

• Experience with CI/CD platforms, such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

• Demonstrated success in executing real-world, large-scale cloud migrations.

• Availability to work during hours aligned with the Central Time (CT) zone.

• Preferred: experience with multi-cloud strategies and infrastructure consolidation.

• Preferred: in-depth knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Preferred: understanding of cloud cost optimization tools, strategies, security, and compliance.

• Preferred: exposure to contemporary platform engineering concepts.
