DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance the CI/CD pipeline to automate the processes of building, testing, and deployment.

• Implement and oversee tools that integrate, automate, and improve development and deployment workflows.

• Monitor, diagnose, and optimize the performance of IT infrastructure.

• Ensure system reliability and availability through proactive management and scaling strategies for infrastructure.

• Automate repetitive tasks utilizing scripting and various automation tools.

• Create automation scripts for managing configurations, backups, and system monitoring.

• Work collaboratively with development teams to integrate deployment processes and enhance server and application performance.

• Offer technical guidance and support to team members, assisting in resolving intricate technical issues.

• Apply security protocols throughout the infrastructure and development lifecycle.

• Ensure adherence to security regulations and company policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 2-5 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer position or a similar role within a software engineering or IT operations setting.

• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and other cloud-native technologies.

• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python and Bash.

• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration.

• Experience with AWS cloud services and managing serverless architectures.

• Robust analytical and troubleshooting abilities, employing a systematic approach to problem resolution.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
