Senior DevOps, Infrastructure Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain essential components of the cloud platform.

• Offer high-level technical direction and infrastructure deployment for Inflect's AWS EKS environment.

• Create and maintain Terraform modules on AWS EKS, managed RDS instances, ingress controllers, and architectures for cost optimization.

• Establish frameworks for SLO/SLI tracking and automate the monitoring of error budgets.

• Engage in post-incident technical evaluations and develop automated tools to minimize operational friction.

• Design and manage the OpenTelemetry capture pipeline that serves downstream Data Foundation and Trust & Intelligence pods.

• Conduct specialized code reviews, evaluate pull requests, and provide recommendations on technical architecture.

• Create reusable platform patterns and automated CI/CD tools to enhance developer deployment workflows.

• Define the operational model and maintain a Global Runbook that includes SOPs, regional coordination, and issue remediation/management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code utilizing Terraform on AWS EKS, RDS, ingress controllers, and TLS certificate automation.

• Experience in implementing tuning for cloud costs and capacity.

• Demonstrated success in defining SLOs/SLIs and establishing frameworks for error budgets.

• Experience in building automation to alleviate system toil.

• Practical experience in designing, implementing, and managing OpenTelemetry collection and routing pipelines.

• Fluent in professional English communication for cross-border asynchronous collaboration and code review guidance.

• Must be registered with AFIP/ARCA as either a Monotributo or Régimen General contractor.

• Must be able to upload valid electronic Facturas into Rippling.

• Capable of working independently as an external subject matter expert.
