Senior DevOps Engineer – TTB

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and manage highly available, secure, and scalable Azure architectures encompassing compute, storage, networking, and identity services.

• Establish enterprise Azure reference architectures, patterns, and best practices.

• Develop guidance for Azure identity, governance, policy enforcement, and monitoring frameworks.

• Assess cloud-native Azure services and strategies for modernization.

• Set architectural standards for Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform and ARM templates.

• Direct the implementation of automated CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory.

• Guarantee repeatable, secure, and auditable infrastructure deployment practices.

• Offer architectural oversight for container-based deployments utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, and AKS.

• Lead migration planning for on-premises workloads transitioning to Azure.

• Propose cloud-native transformations and create hybrid connectivity and networking architectures.

• Define Azure governance strategies, which include Azure Policy, RBAC, identity and access management, monitoring, and observability.

• Ensure that architecture complies with federal security and compliance standards.

• Act as the technical authority for Azure architecture throughout the program.

• Provide guidance to DevOps engineers, cloud engineers, and development teams.

• Translate mission requirements into technical architecture strategies and roadmaps.

• Articulate architecture approaches and trade-offs to government stakeholders, ACIOs, and program leadership.

• Facilitate technical discussions and design reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Current or prior Public Trust designation is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing Azure cloud architectures.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform and ARM templates.

• At least 5 years of DevOps experience concentrating on Azure technologies, including cloud deployment automation and pipeline development.

• Proven experience in architecting CI/CD strategies using Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory.

• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• Experience in designing cloud migration strategies and adapting on-premises workloads to cloud-native architectures.

• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Autopilot / Intune, Microsoft 365 / Office 365, SharePoint, Exchange, and OneDrive.

• Proficient in PowerShell, Bash, and Python.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
