Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure, Cybersecurity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure within the Google Cloud Platform.

• Develop, maintain, and assess modular, reusable infrastructure-as-code configurations utilizing Terraform.

• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure deployments and application delivery processes.

• Partner with development and engineering teams to enhance cloud performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.

• Monitor system reliability, resolve infrastructure incidents, and ensure high availability across all services.

• Take ownership of the lifecycle management of GCP environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen currently living in the United States.

• Practical experience in configuring and maintaining production workloads across core GCP services, such as Compute Engine, IAM, VPCs, and Cloud Networking.

• Proven history of managing infrastructure at scale using modular, production-ready Terraform.

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Platform Engineering.

• Hands-on experience in creating CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GCP Cloud Build.

• Familiarity with or exposure to Atlantis for PR-driven Terraform automation and execution is highly regarded.

• Strong proficiency in Docker and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) is highly valued.

• Extensive knowledge of zero-trust security, IAM governance, and cloud compliance auditing is highly desirable.
