This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and enhance the AWS infrastructure that supports NetBox Cloud, which includes EKS clusters, VPC configuration, IAM, RDS, and associated services.
• Spearhead infrastructure initiatives from conception to execution, establishing milestones and delegating tasks among the team.
• Collaborate with Product teams to ensure reliable and scalable launches for customers.
• Enhance deployment automation and GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows, prioritizing reliability, speed, AI integration, and developer autonomy.
• Recognize and mitigate technical debt prior to it posing reliability or security challenges.
• Establish and manage Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for accountable systems while minimizing manual tasks through automation.
• Contribute to achieving SOC 2 compliance, security measures, and IAM governance.
• Guide engineers through code reviews, collaborative coding, and design conversations.
• Engage in on-call rotations and take the lead during incident responses, including conducting postmortem analyses.
• Over 7 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or platform engineering roles.
• More than 3 years of experience at a B2B SaaS organization.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS, particularly in EKS/Kubernetes, VPC, IAM, RDS, and cost management strategies.
• Profound experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Helm.
• Strong background in CI/CD practices, preferably with GitHub Actions.
• Proficient in programming languages including Python, Go, and shell scripting.
• Proven ability to scope and execute complex infrastructure projects collaboratively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in design documentation and architectural discussions.
• Experience with security and compliance protocols in production environments, including SOC 2 and IAM governance.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude in everyday engineering tasks.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and OpenTelemetry.
• Knowledge of the NetBox ecosystem or network automation is advantageous.
• Contributions to open-source projects are a plus.
