This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
β’ Providing guidance to clients regarding cloud architectures, DevOps methodologies, and platform principles.
β’ Designing and assisting in the development of cloud service management platforms, ensuring their integration with current operations and governance frameworks.
β’ Crafting target architectures for CI/CD, container environments, and infrastructure setups.
β’ Converting business needs into technical frameworks.
β’ Advising on the implementation of DevOps practices, platform engineering strategies, and self-service models.
β’ Creating architecture decision records, reference architectures, and governance strategies for monitoring, logging, and security within multicloud setups.
β’ Leading architecture workshops and presentations aimed at executive stakeholders.
β’ Persuading IT executives and technical teams of the significance of architectural designs.
β’ Offering technical leadership in complex consulting engagements.
β’ Contributing to the strategic evolution of the cloud and DevOps consulting service offerings.
β’ A completed degree in fields such as computer science or business information systems, or an equivalent qualification along with relevant professional experience.
β’ Multiple years of consulting experience as a cloud or DevOps architect, preferably within regulated sectors.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of cloud service management and brokerage platforms, alongside experience in integrating them into intricate IT settings.
β’ Strong architectural expertise in Kubernetes (OpenShift, Rancher), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), GitLab CI, AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenStack.
β’ Experience in designing security architectures and identity frameworks utilizing OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
β’ Familiarity with architecture frameworks like arc42 or TOGAF, as well as the ability to produce architecture documentation and decision records.
β’ Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
β’ Exceptional communication and presentation abilities in German (C2) and English (at least B2).
β’ A hands-on approach, high self-motivation, and a customer-oriented mindset.
β’ A collaborative team player with strong documentation capabilities and a proactive attitude towards knowledge sharing.
β’ A keen interest in trends related to cloud, DevOps, and platform engineering.
β’ Certifications like AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, or ITIL Practitioner are preferred, but can also be pursued after joining.
