Cloud & FinOps Engineer – AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to our clients while working on platforms including Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, and hybrid environments.

• Act as a primary contact and implementer for technical inquiries and solutions related to Technical FinOps, cloud governance, architecture, Kubernetes, and migration strategies.

• Create and develop cloud migration strategies with consideration for FinOps principles.

• Offer technical consulting for the adoption and implementation of cloud solutions.

• Counsel clients on the integration of FinOps principles and strategies.

• Standardize processes for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

• Assess system and software engineering tools and methodologies.

• Formulate system specifications tailored to client environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in public cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or Azure.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructures and architectures.

• Initial cloud certifications, like CKAD, are advantageous.

• Experience with technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), or similar tools.

• A keen interest in AI and AI-driven systems within the context of FinOps.

• Basic programming and/or scripting abilities, such as Python and Bash.

• Knowledge of Cloud Identity and Access Management is a bonus.

• Understanding of serverless technologies and API management.

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and auditing on cloud platforms, including AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Elasticsearch.

• Fundamental understanding of FinOps and its core principles.

• Proficiency in both German and English.
