Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain infrastructure for Development, Testing, QA, and Production environments utilizing Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Guarantee system availability, performance, and scalability.

• Engage in the support on-call rotation and incident management.

• Promote continuous enhancements in processes, services, and self-service functionalities.

• Oversee projects and establish priorities, including plans for risk mitigation.

• Discover opportunities to enhance products and services through technology and data analysis.

• Forge strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders.

• Maintain and improve infrastructure and process documentation.

• Offer guidance, training, and mentorship to junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS and Microsoft Azure.

• Understanding of middleware and application servers like Apache Tomcat, JBoss, and Spring Boot.

• Knowledge of networks and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSL/TLS, SSH, SFTP, HTTPS, and WebSockets.

• Experience in analyzing and resolving issues in distributed applications and complex environments.

• Capability to manage projects autonomously with a focus on results.

• Proficient in advanced English.

• Preferred: experience with containerized environments and microservices architectures.

• Preferred: experience with CI/CD processes and pipeline automation.

• Preferred: experience with monitoring, observability, and management of cloud environments.
