Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and continuously enhance infrastructure, platform, and automation solutions.

• Assume responsibility for provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks.

• Persistently refine CI/CD pipelines.

• Create rapid, secure, and reproducible deployment processes.

• Make sustainable architectural and technology decisions across cloud, infrastructure, and platform engineering.

• Assess new technologies and tools.

• Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of production systems.

• Conduct monitoring and manage incidents effectively.

• Continuously improve operational stability.

• Identify and systematically reduce manual processes, technical debt, and operational risks.

• Collaborate with Software Engineering, Product Owners, and QA to enhance developer productivity and operational stability.

• Provide support to colleagues through expertise in DevOps, cloud, and platform engineering.

• Implement best practices for infrastructure, automation, observability, and security.

• Continuously advance technical standards and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform operations, infrastructure automation, or software development with an operational focus.

• Proficiency in automation, Infrastructure as Code, and reproducible infrastructure.

• Familiarity with modern build, test, and deployment processes, alongside CI/CD methodologies.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms, system architectures, containerization, and operating distributed systems.

• Experience or knowledge in monitoring, logging, availability, performance, and security.

• Willingness to take ownership of critical systems and technical decisions.

• Independent, solution-oriented work approach.

• Excellent communication skills and a passion for collaborating with other engineering disciplines.

• Eagerness to share knowledge actively with colleagues.
