DevOps Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, maintain, and reutilize CI/CD pipelines and templates for application deployment across development, staging, and production environments.

• Collaborate with development, application, database, QA, operations, product, and business teams to design, implement, test, and support critical business systems.

• Coordinate application and artifact releases in Azure and AWS cloud environments.

• Create and uphold automation scripts for deployment, scaling, monitoring, and operational processes.

• Oversee and manage on-premises and cloud-based application infrastructure, which includes web servers, SaaS, PaaS, and cloud services.

• Execute infrastructure upgrades, patches, and other operational tasks.

• Set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions.

• Employ infrastructure modernization practices, such as Azure policies, authentication methods, infrastructure as code, and Terraform deployments.

• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

• Evaluate projects, prioritize requirements, estimate workload, adhere to schedules, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

• Analyze emerging infrastructure and application-deployment technologies.

• Provide remote support for global operations and participate in a rotating on-call schedule for a 24/7 global environment.

• Allocate approximately 70% of time to product initiatives and 30% to platform stability, maintenance, upgrades, and patching.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 4+ years of experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Terraform.

• 4+ years of experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.

• Preferably experienced in managing Azure services such as API Management, App Service, Function Apps, Service Bus, and Storage Accounts.

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code practices for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.

• Proven experience in creating and maintaining deployment pipelines and coordinating application or artifact releases across cloud environments.

• Experience working with international teams, supporting multiple business units, and engaging stakeholders.

• Knowledgeable in application server administration, including Microsoft Internet Information Services.

• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, written and verbal communication, and collaboration abilities.

• Capable of working independently.

• Ability to provide remote support for global operations and participate in a rotating on-call schedule for a 24/7 environment.

• Must be a resident of the US.
