Dev / DevOps Engineer, Junior – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Deliver dependable L2 operational assistance on a rotating schedule, addressing incidents, troubleshooting user challenges, and processing service requests.

• Streamline recurring operational tasks, scripts, and workflows to reduce manual effort and lower support ticket volume.

• Engage in software development and bug resolution in the build backlog utilizing Go or Angular/TypeScript.

• Manage, interpret, and modify Infrastructure as Code configurations using Terraform and Python/Bash scripting tools.

• Collaborate with Senior Tech Leads and French build teams during knowledge transfer, reverse shadowing, and support transitions.

• Take part in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code evaluations, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Monitor application performance and cloud metrics to detect performance bottlenecks and potential failure points proactively.

• Provide support for AWS serverless cloud applications for a leading aerospace client.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 5+ years of professional experience in software development, cloud operations, or DevOps settings.

• Robust hands-on experience in Go OR Angular / TypeScript.

• Practical understanding of AWS managed services, including AWS Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform; capability to read, modify, and maintain configurations.

• Scripting expertise using Python or Bash for operational automation.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and RESTful APIs.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Eagerness to engage in a structured L2 support rotation.

• Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken.
