Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and construct robust Cloud infrastructures that are safeguarded against security threats.

• Develop and evaluate Cloud security solutions for systems, databases, and networks.

• Conduct assessments and provide recommendations to ensure that adequate controls are implemented.

• Monitor and analyze logs, as well as perform vulnerability assessments, to gain insights into security incidents and threats.

• Contribute to the development of the company's Cloud security policies, procedures, and standards.

• Generate technical and managerial-level security reports for Cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

• Implement and evaluate network and security Disaster Recovery procedures to guarantee business continuity.

• Oversee sensitive data usage and manage access to protect information.

• Ensure data confidentiality and integrity during its transmission, storage, and processing.

• Review violations of security procedures and engage in discussions with violators to prevent future occurrences.

• Assist end users with network- and security-related concerns.

⛳️ Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Information Security or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of general experience in the DevOps field.

• At least 2 years of experience in Information Security with a specific focus on Cloud Security.

• Technical expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Proficient with AWS services including IAM, Organizations, SO, VPC, Transit Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudTrail, Config, Inspector, GuardDuty, WAF, etc.

• Strong understanding of current threats to Cloud infrastructure and advanced knowledge in securing such environments.

• Experience in DevSecOps methodologies is a plus.

• Background in building and deploying applications to the cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.) using Infrastructure as Code.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating within a team.

• Capability to quickly learn new technologies in depth.

• Availability to work in the CET timezone.

• Proficient in coding tools such as Terraform.

• Expertise in container security.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud.
