Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS utilizing EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and Route 53.

• Develop and sustain Infrastructure as Code solutions through Terraform.

• Partner with development and operations teams to create CI/CD pipelines and automate the software delivery process.

• Monitor and enhance AWS resources for optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and security.

• Establish cloud networking, encompassing VPC setup, subnets, and security groups.

• Oversee AWS database, container orchestration, storage, and DNS services.

• Configure VPN networks and manage remote IoT devices.

• Guarantee high availability, fault tolerance, and effective disaster recovery strategies.

• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues promptly.

• Keep abreast of AWS best practices and emerging cloud technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience, ideally with high-transactional and distributed systems.

• Demonstrated experience managing AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, and Route 53.

• Practical experience with Terraform for automating and orchestrating infrastructure.

• Strong grasp of AWS networking concepts, including DNS, VPCs, subnets, and security groups.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.

• Proficient in Linux system administration.

• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong knowledge of Bash and Python scripting.

• Skilled in writing SQL queries, including joins, aggregations, and filtering across complex relational and non-relational datasets.

• Capable of effectively communicating and collaborating within a remote and distributed team.

• Preferred AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.

• Experience with additional Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible or CloudFormation is preferred.

• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus is preferred.

• Experience managing remote IoT devices is preferred.
