Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with software architects and development teams to identify infrastructure needs and create comprehensive platform solutions.

• Drive the design, implementation, and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines.

• Design and manage Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Execute proofs of concept to assess new tools, technologies, and methodologies.

• Oversee and improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and availability.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate infrastructure, deployment, and application challenges.

• Incorporate security best practices into architecture and deployment processes.

• Guide team members in advanced DevOps practices.

• Participate in ongoing improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience as a DevOps Engineer, concentrating on platform architecture and the design of scalable infrastructure solutions.

• Expertise in building and refining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI, with a focus on automation and efficiency.

• Strong skills in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or similar languages).

• Practical experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, including production-grade deployments.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with proficiency in infrastructure provisioning and management.

• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Experience in conducting PoCs and evaluating new tools and technologies to improve infrastructure and operations.

• A security-oriented mindset with a history of implementing best practices for securing both cloud-based and on-premise environments.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts and collaborate effectively across teams.

• Relevant certifications such as Azure Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or other cloud and DevOps-related certifications are beneficial.

• Previous experience in software development or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is an advantage.

• Proven experience with Azure, including infrastructure design and management, implementation of DevOps practices, and utilization of Azure-specific services is advantageous.

• Experience in designing or contributing to platform-level architecture and infrastructure strategies is a plus.
