This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.
• Assume full responsibility for DevOps and deployment processes across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and automated application delivery.
• Provision and oversee cloud infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code and automation techniques.
• Manage containerized workloads along with Kubernetes environments.
• Automate infrastructure, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance build, release, and deployment workflows.
• Set up and maintain systems for monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability across applications and infrastructure.
• Ensure that infrastructure and deployment processes adhere to security, scalability, availability, and reliability standards.
• Diagnose complex issues related to infrastructure, deployment, networking, and production, and facilitate root-cause analysis.
• Implement practices for backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and utilization of cloud resources.
• Enhance cloud cost efficiency and optimize resource allocation.
• Conduct technical evaluations and mentor development teams on DevOps and cloud best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and deployment/runbook records.
• Strive for continuous improvement in platform stability, deployment efficiency, security, automation, and developer experience.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for enterprise-level applications.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated infrastructure provisioning.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record in managing production environments and resolving complex deployment, infrastructure, and application issues.
• Solid expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, preferably with Terraform.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or equivalents.
• Deep understanding of Git and branching/release strategies.
• Experience in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong grasp of networking concepts including DNS, load balancers, firewalls, SSL/TLS, and connectivity.
• Familiarity with application and infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices, secrets management, access controls, and vulnerability management.
• Relevant cloud, Kubernetes, or DevOps certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Helm, Ansible, microservices, cloud-native architectures, monitoring platforms, service mesh, API gateways, database deployment and migration, disaster recovery, backup, high availability, business continuity, SRE practices, SLIs/SLOs, capacity planning, and performance optimization are desirable skills.
