Senior DevOps Consultant – Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain essential components of the cloud platform.

• Offer high-level technical direction and facilitate infrastructure delivery for Inflect's AWS EKS environment.

• Create and uphold Terraform modules on AWS EKS, managed RDS instances, ingress controllers, and architectures focused on cost optimization.

• Develop frameworks for SLO/SLI tracking and automate the monitoring of error budgets.

• Engage in technical reviews following incidents and create tools to minimize operational friction.

• Design and sustain the OpenTelemetry capture pipeline that supports downstream Data Foundation and Trust & Intelligence pods.

• Conduct specialized code reviews, assess pull requests, and provide recommendations on technical architecture.

• Create reusable platform patterns and automated CI/CD tools for developer deployment workflows.

• Define the operational model and comprehensive runbook, including SOPs, regional coordination, and issue remediation/management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) working with AWS EKS, RDS, ingress controllers, TLS certificate automation, and cloud cost/capacity optimization.

• Demonstrated success in defining SLOs/SLIs, building error budget frameworks, and implementing automation to decrease system toil.

• Practical experience in designing and managing OpenTelemetry collection and routing pipelines.

• Proficient professional English communication skills for asynchronous collaboration across borders and code review guidance.

• Active corporate entity (CNPJ).

• Valid electronic service invoices (NFS-e) submitted into Rippling for monthly payments.
