Senior Developer – Ruby on Rails

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance business logic, models, migrations, and REST/GraphQL APIs within an existing Rails application.

• Create event producers and consumers using Apache Kafka to facilitate asynchronous flows among services.

• Design scalable APIs for the mobile application ecosystem and deploy them on AWS infrastructure.

• Construct robust integration layers with Salesforce and Sage ERP.

• Conduct unit and integration testing using RSpec and deliver feature increments within Agile sprints.

• Estimate story points, design technical tasks, and ensure system performance and API stability.

• Collaborate with Product, QA, and the client's internal team in an integrated work model.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong, recent Ruby on Rails expertise at a senior level.

• Practical experience with AWS.

• Familiarity with Kafka or event-driven architectures.

• Experience working with enterprise applications or products, particularly in evolving existing applications.

• Proficient in English, capable of collaborating directly with teams based in the US.

• Experience in testing with RSpec and Agile methodologies.

• Ability to adapt to change.

• Self-sufficiency.
