Senior Developer, Ruby

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance business logic, models, migrations, and REST/GraphQL APIs within an existing Rails application.

• Create event producers and consumers utilizing Apache Kafka for asynchronous service interactions.

• Design scalable APIs tailored for the mobile application ecosystem and deploy them on AWS infrastructure.

• Construct resilient integration layers with Salesforce and Sage ERP systems.

• Compose unit and integration tests using RSpec.

• Deliver feature increments within Agile sprints.

• Estimate story points and devise technical tasks.

• Ensure system performance and API stability are maintained.

• Work collaboratively with Product, QA, and the client’s internal teams in a cohesive working environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong, recent experience with Ruby on Rails at a semi-senior level.

• Practical experience with AWS.

• Familiarity with Kafka or event-driven architectures.

• Experience with enterprise applications or products, particularly in evolving existing applications.

• Proficient in English, capable of direct communication with US-based teams.

• Experience in testing with RSpec and Agile methodologies.

• Ability to work independently.
