This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Participate in consulting initiatives, research, and development of innovative solutions for both internal and external clients.
• Design, develop, and tailor the Archibus IWMS platform to meet specific needs.
• Collaborate effectively with teams in Application Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure, and Database Administration.
• Manage client engagements from start to finish, encompassing requirements gathering through to production support with minimal supervision.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Archibus and various software applications in JLL staging environments as well as customer testing and production settings.
• Customize and enhance Archibus alongside business software applications, which includes GUI, report, and script development.
• Contribute to the entire software development life cycle: defining, designing, building, testing, and deploying solutions.
• Assist in unit testing and ensure quality assurance protocols are followed.
• Identify design deficiencies and areas for improvement, collaborating with Solution Consultants and Project Managers to reassess designs and project timelines.
• Analyze client challenges and design, develop, and implement thorough Archibus-based solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues utilizing application logs, stack traces, and database-level analysis.
• Communicate findings through customer-facing ticket updates and internal documentation effectively.
• Develop and debug Archibus connectors and data migration interfaces as necessary.
• Conduct data mapping, manipulation, and migration across databases and enterprise applications.
• Create and maintain reports using Archibus, BIRT, SQL Server Reporting Services, Web Central, and additional reporting tools.
• Over 5 years of applicable experience in Archibus development and implementation.
• More than 5 years of hands-on development, deployment, and implementation experience with Archibus, including Web Central, Smart Client, and workflow rules.
• Proven experience in planning and executing upgrades for Archibus versions, including schema migration, post-upgrade validation, and data cleanup.
• Strong knowledge of relational database systems, object-oriented programming, and web application development.
• Proficiency with Oracle and MSSQL, including experience with queries, triggers, stored procedures, functions, performance analysis, and locking/blocking analysis.
• Hands-on experience with web APIs and enterprise software deployment and implementation.
• Experience in configuring and implementing SAML-based Single Sign-On (SSO) integration for Archibus.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development methodologies.
• Experience with Tomcat or comparable Java application server administration.
• Ability to convert complex business requirements into technical tasks with minimal oversight.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective customer support communication and technical documentation.
• Experience with BIRT, SQL Server Reporting Services, or equivalent reporting software.
• Proficiency in XML, JavaScript, SQL (PL/SQL and T-SQL), and Java.
• Ability to adhere to project timelines, constraints, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Eptura (Archibus) certification is highly desirable.
• Tableau certification is also highly desirable.
• Preferred experience with IBM TRIRIGA, FM:Systems, or other IWMS platforms.
• Preferred familiarity with Tableau, QLIK, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.
• Understanding of application security, ETL processes and systems, data management, data modeling, and governance practices.
