This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, develop, and sustain integrations between SAP Business Suite systems and external applications.
• Build and maintain interfaces utilizing SAP PI/PO.
• Engage with APIs, REST, SOAP, OData, XML, JSON, IDoc, RFC, and BAPI.
• Assess integration needs and convert business requirements into technical integration solutions.
• Develop mappings, interface configurations, message transformations, and routing procedures.
• Diagnose interface failures, performance challenges, and production integration incidents.
• Supervise interfaces to ensure dependable data exchange between SAP and third-party systems.
• Collaborate closely with SAP functional teams, business users, and external application teams.
• Take part in integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and production support.
• Create technical documentation for interfaces and integration architecture.
• Adhere to integration best practices, security standards, and change-management processes.
• 4–8 years of experience in SAP Integration / SAP PI/PO.
• Extensive experience with SAP Business Suite integration.
• Practical experience with SAP PI/PO.
• Strong knowledge of APIs and interface architecture.
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP web services.
• Good understanding of IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and OData.
• Experience with XML/JSON and data transformation/mapping.
• Sound understanding of integration patterns and error handling.
• Experience working with both SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI is preferred as a nice-to-have.
• SAP S/4HANA integration experience is preferred as a nice-to-have.
• API Management experience is preferred as a nice-to-have.
• Basic knowledge of Java/Groovy or another programming language is preferred as a nice-to-have.
• Experience with cloud-based integrations is preferred as a nice-to-have.
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, certificates, and basic authentication is preferred as a nice-to-have.
