Senior Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable and robust software solutions.

• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and various stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

• Produce clean, efficient, and thoroughly documented code in accordance with best practices and architectural standards.

• Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and ensure compliance with coding standards.

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges, guaranteeing high availability and performance of applications.

• Mentor and support junior developers, promoting a culture of continual learning and enhancement.

• Engage in agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Investigate and assess new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance development workflows and product quality.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of software development processes and methodologies.

• Ensure adherence to security protocols and data privacy regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with agentic development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Github Copilot).

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software development.

• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript (Node.js/React).

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

• Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) if applicable to the position.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking capabilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior team members.

• Experience in the manufacturing or supply chain industry is advantageous.
