Senior Designer, UX Research, Prototyping

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of QIMA clients’ requirements and challenges.

• Design and spearhead thorough discovery and user research methodologies.

• Develop functional, clickable, and code-supported prototypes for engineering teams.

• Deliver prototypes that eliminate ambiguity and facilitate quicker software delivery.

• Uphold a high standard of UX craftsmanship and enhance client experience by minimizing friction.

• Gain fluency in QIMA’s business landscape across various divisions.

• Ground design choices in business outcomes and ensure alignment among stakeholders in sales, marketing, operations, and finance.

• Create experiences tailored for both occasional users and seasoned expert users.

• Design a modular digital client experience that is scalable across divisions and services.

• Decompose complex issues into manageable iterative roadmap increments.

• Remove obstacles and maintain an agile development pace.

• Establish and monitor metrics such as portal adoption, task completion, time-to-insight, and client retention.

• Utilize data to prioritize decisions and communicate progress to clients and stakeholders.

• Integrate AI into discovery, delivery, prototyping, and broader design team practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in UX research, product design, or relevant transferable skills, typically around 7 years.

• Proven ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder design challenges from discovery to a functional prototype.

• A portfolio demonstrating working prototypes, rather than just polished mockups.

• Experience where a prototype directly influenced an engineering decision or facilitated a build.

• A strong commitment to maintaining high UX craftsmanship standards.

• Background in high-growth or scale-up environments.

• High level of agency and ownership.

• A proactive approach and an iterative mindset.

• Proficiency with interactive, no-code, low-code, or basic front-end prototyping tools.

• Analytical skills to leverage data in support of design decisions.

• Practical experience with client interviews, data analysis, and the complete design workflow.

• Proven application of AI-enhanced design practices.

• Full professional proficiency in English.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be based anywhere in Europe.

• Preference for candidates in Paris or London, with hybrid work applicable in those locations.
