Senior Design Lead

📋 Description

• Oversee various intricate design projects or workstreams, establishing methodologies, deliverables, and timelines.

• Navigate teams through uncertain situations while fostering alignment and collaboration.

• Uphold consistent design judgment and critical analysis.

• Mentor direct reports, leads, and senior designers.

• Enhance design thinking across team initiatives.

• Manage client relationships, set expectations, address issues, and escalate strategic choices when necessary.

• Develop and communicate a design strategy that aligns with business objectives.

• Collaborate with senior clients on envisioning future outcomes.

• Advocate for and defend design choices to senior stakeholders.

• Articulate design rationale for executive audiences.

• Supervise direct reports and client interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of full-time industry experience as a product designer.

• At least 4 years of experience in people management.

• An accessible portfolio.

• Availability for a minimum of 3 hours overlap with the Toronto EST timezone.
