This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Drive design initiatives in the realms of behavioral health and absence management experiences.
β’ Take ownership of projects from discovery to execution, which includes problem framing, conducting research, prototyping, and collaborating with product and engineering teams.
β’ Enhance design maturity through user research, data-informed decision making, mentorship, critique, systems thinking, and influence.
β’ Leverage AI for research synthesis, prototyping, exploration, documentation, execution, and reducing handoffs.
β’ Collaborate with product, engineering, and subject-matter experts to transform ambiguous, high-stakes challenges into testable user outcomes.
β’ Engage in brainstorming sessions, design critiques, and storytelling alongside design colleagues.
β’ Advance the long-term product vision, design systems, visual language, and design principles.
β’ Develop journey maps and service blueprints that encompass both frontstage and backstage experiences.
β’ Utilize storytelling to align user outcomes with business objectives and foster innovation.
β’ Proven ability and eagerness to manage experience design end-to-end, from defining problems to delivery and iterative data-driven enhancements.
β’ Strong foundational UX design skills and expertise in execution.
β’ Experience in crafting elegant solutions within intricate product domains.
β’ History of elevating the design maturity of teams through mentorship, critique, systems thinking, or influence.
β’ Proficiency in using AI as a practical tool for prototyping, research synthesis, rapid iterations, designing in code, and documentation.
β’ Understanding of LLM capabilities, limitations, and human factors.
β’ Passion for mission-oriented, human-centered work that addresses both functional and emotional needs.
β’ Ability to clearly articulate the design process and the rationale behind design decisions.
β’ Skill in persuading peers and executives, with adaptability based on evidence.
β’ Experience in Agile product delivery teams.
β’ Background in behavioral health, absence management, or another regulated, data-sensitive sector.
β’ Expertise in accessibility and familiarity with WCAG 2.2.
β’ Strong skills in mobile design.
