This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design, develop, test, document, and maintain reusable pv-components within the Pit Viper internal design system.
β’ Create APIs for components, composition patterns, variants, interaction states, and extension points.
β’ Ensure components function effectively in Vue applications and as native Web Components within HTML and server-rendered product interfaces.
β’ Collaborate with product designers and engineers from initial exploration through to production implementation.
β’ Enhance layouts, interactions, responsive behavior, typography, spacing, focus management, transitions, and feedback states in application code.
β’ Implement detailed elements such as loading, empty, error, success, disabled, hover, and keyboard-navigation states.
β’ Review product interfaces for visual, behavioral, and accessibility inconsistencies, rectifying them at the appropriate level.
β’ Enhance documentation, testing, release processes, and contribution practices for Pit Viper.
β’ Connect design intent with delivered product experiences for Turquoise Healthβs healthcare price-transparency platform.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in building production web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
β’ At least 1 year of hands-on experience in constructing or maintaining a design system, component library, or shared UI framework.
β’ Strong judgment in visual and interaction design.
β’ Production-level experience with Vue or a similar component framework (React/Svelte/Angular).
β’ Proven experience in implementing accessibility standards (WCAG) in delivered components.
β’ A portfolio, GitHub profile, or work sample showcasing before/after component or interaction work.
β’ Current authorization to work in the United States.
