This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a worldwide team of Category Demand Planners
• Oversee aggregated, category-level global demand planning for revenue-generating units
• Implement a uniform forecasting methodology across NAM, APAC, EU, and ANZ
• Maintain a rolling demand forecast for the next 18 months
• Incorporate category insights and item-level trends into S&OP meetings
• Facilitate monthly demand reviews and the demand phase of the integrated S&OP process
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply to develop the consensus demand plan
• Represent demand planning at both consensus and executive S&OP levels
• Conduct an in-month global pacing analysis to identify revenue risks and opportunities
• Provide in-season evaluations of promotions, events, and product launches
• Define and manage forecast KPIs while driving continuous improvement
• Lead Quarterly Category Hindsight reviews, Product Lifecycle Management, and assortment optimization
• Direct product ranking and core-SKU identification to support inventory strategy
• Consolidate and approve market forecasts for new product launches
• Act as the demand planning lead for the Oracle Planning Central implementation
• Ensure that planning tools utilize the demand plan and operational data to inform supply planning
• Recruit, manage, and develop the Global Category Demand Planning team
• Fully remote position within the US; preference for West Coast for time-zone alignment
• Typical PDT business hours, with flexibility required to accommodate global time zones
• Capability to endure extended periods of sitting and screen usage
• Strong analytical skills across diverse systems and markets
• Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing abilities
• Proven leadership and team development skills
• Extensive understanding of S&OP/IBP process design
• Competence in crafting structured forecasting standards and work instructions
• 8+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, merchandise planning, or S&OP/IBP within a multi-channel, multi-market consumer goods or beauty sector
• 4+ years of direct management or formal team leadership experience
• Experience in establishing or leading a formal S&OP/IBP process across various regions or markets
• Advanced Excel proficiency, particularly with large datasets
• Experience in leading planning system implementations or significant process redesigns
• Familiarity with Power BI and NetSuite
• Bachelor’s degree required
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus
• Previous experience in personal care, beauty, or comparable multinational CPG is advantageous
