Forward Deployed Supply Chain Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Lyric deployment workstreams from initial planning to the go-live stage.

• Conduct meetings and manage the project plan independently, keeping stakeholders updated on progress and status.

• Collaborate with both customer and internal executives to align priorities, mitigate risks, and ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.

• Facilitate structured User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and promote customer adoption of Lyric solutions.

• Train and empower customer teams, including engineers and experienced operators, to effectively utilize Lyric’s platform.

• Act as the primary contact for end-users during the go-live phase and into ongoing monitoring.

• Collaborate with Lyric’s technical delivery team to convert business needs into the platform's build.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 7+ years of experience, preferably as a senior consultant in a large systems integrator, focusing on building, connecting, and managing technology systems.

• Proven ability to independently manage a workstream, conduct meetings, develop project plans, and adhere to timelines.

• Background in supply chain consulting is desirable.

• Experience in the oil and gas industry is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Strong program and project management skills are essential.

• High energy and agency, with the ability to navigate a large, complex client organization comfortably.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly with engineers and experienced, non-technical operator audiences.

• Familiarity with SQL/Python is a plus.

• Candidates must be based in the US.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%, primarily within the US, is required.
