This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Design and execute maintenance programs throughout the Distribution Network.
• Enhance the overall effectiveness of equipment and systems, increase infrastructure standardization, and lower costs.
• Create and sustain KPIs, dashboards, and monitoring systems for performance and uptime of systems.
• Generate reports and analytics to optimize equipment availability and operational efficiency.
• Act as the primary contact and escalation resource for hardware and software-related issues.
• Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with vendors of material handling equipment.
• Assist in post-go-live activities for upgrades, retrofits, and new implementations.
• Develop, maintain, and supervise the technician training curriculum and certification tracking.
• Manage access to Vendor University and documentation for Maintenance and Project Management.
• Provide consistent maintenance leadership and guidance across distribution centers.
• Create the Preventative Maintenance Program and oversee its implementation, progress, and performance.
• Collaborate with Procurement on standards and contracts for equipment and services.
• Supervise inventory ordering, tracking, and standardization across various sites.
• Facilitate communications and updates with material handling equipment suppliers.
• Support the development, planning, and tracking of Capex and Opex budgets.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline is required.
• At least 8 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale capital projects related to material handling.
• Strong skills in time management, planning, organization, and problem-solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across various organizational levels and functions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in the design of facility and material handling systems, from concept through to implementation.
• Capability to conduct financial analysis for project justification.
• Experience working with Distribution Center Operations within a national logistics framework.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a non-air-conditioned warehouse setting.
• Ability to sit for long durations while preparing analyses, work plans, or training materials.
• Capability to visually verify information and read intricate drawings, often in small print.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer system.
• Capacity to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 60% annually, which may include consecutive overnight stays.
