Senior Demand and Supply Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Generate and uphold precise demand forecasts grounded in usage patterns, historical data, and installation timelines.

• Create consolidated supply strategies in conjunction with repair, procurement, and logistics teams.

• Enhance Depot and Corporate inventory levels to reduce surplus or obsolete stock while guaranteeing availability.

• Implement Oracle Fusion planning techniques, including Min Max and Periodic Automatic Replenishment (PAR).

• Lead or engage in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) initiatives.

• Evaluate and reconcile supply-demand discrepancies and facilitate scenario planning.

• Work in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to synchronize forecasts and strategies.

• Identify potential risks and opportunities within the supply-demand network and suggest modifications.

• Create, assess, and present reports and dashboards on forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory health to senior leadership.

• Assist with physical inventory tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.

• At least 5-7 years of experience in demand and supply planning.

• Over 3 years of experience utilizing Material Resource Planning (MRP) functionality within an ERP system, preferably Oracle Fusion, or proven knowledge and successful implementation of an MRP process outside of an ERP context.

• Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Excel, to compile and summarize extensive historical data and detect trends or issues.

• Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to convey complex data to non-technical stakeholders.

• Robust cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• Familiarity with supply chain principles.

• Business insight regarding market trends, sales strategies, and external factors influencing demand.

• Capacity to challenge assumptions and foster consensus.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

• APICS or CPIM certifications are preferred.

• More than 1 year of MRP experience within Oracle Fusion is preferred.
