Senior Demand and Supply Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, execution, analysis, and assessment of inventory management strategies to predict supply for global clinical trials.

• Deliver initial and ongoing demand planning services for intricate clients and accounts.

• Create preliminary demand plans, global inventory optimization strategies, proactive inventory management, portfolio management, and consultation for IRT setup.

• Serve as an informal leader within Client Services while aiding in strategic development.

• Enhance team processes, tools, and resources.

• Mentor and support new hires along with less experienced planners.

• Contribute to IRT medication management module user requirements and perform user acceptance testing as needed.

• Evaluate IRT strategies and modify settings to optimize supply and demand.

• Refine global and regional supply strategies to guarantee continuity of patient supply.

• Generate client reports comparing actual project expenditures against the budget.

• Link demand planning with S&OP and incorporate current forecast data into the divisional S&OP process.

• Collaborate with enterprise, global, and site project management teams and clients to facilitate supply chain planning.

• Ensure that temperature excursion processes are executed as necessary.

• Develop and sustain financial forecasts and monthly billing processes for complex client projects.

• Aid in training and onboarding new team members.

• Keep abreast of cGMPs, GCPs, and other regulatory standards.

• Advocate for the company vision and perform activities safely and efficiently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business/operations management is highly preferred.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Over 5 years of experience in clinical supply chain and/or planning, focusing on global supply chain design and logistics management, ideally in relation to clinical program design and execution.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience is required if holding an advanced degree.

• Familiarity with clinical supply requirements, phases of clinical development, and variables affecting study designs is preferred.

• Knowledge of effective supply chain techniques.

• Understanding of Interactive Response Technology (IRT) medication management modules.

• Awareness of cGMPs, GCPs, and other regulatory requirements.

• Capability to manage demand planning projects across various systems.

• Proficiency in providing accurate forecasting information.

• Ability to utilize Thermo Fisher tools and technology.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills that are clear, concise, and organized.
