Senior Delivery Manager – Portfolio

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of delivery performance for a range of client engagements and accounts, ensuring a unified view of delivery, financial outcomes, risks, and client results.

• Provide senior delivery leadership for major client or delivery escalations and implement necessary interventions when required.

• Manage the financial performance and forecasting of the portfolio, identify commercial risks, address significant variances, and promote sustainable portfolio performance.

• Strategically plan portfolio resources and capabilities in line with current engagement needs and forecasted opportunities.

• Assess future capability and capacity needs and develop workforce strategies, including recruitment, training, and external delivery capabilities.

• Set up and uphold delivery governance and assurance mechanisms across the portfolio.

• Promote the consistent application and ongoing enhancement of K2's delivery methodologies.

• Mentor and develop Delivery Managers and senior delivery professionals, fostering accountability, leadership skills, and succession planning.

• Cultivate relationships with senior clients and internal stakeholders while aiding in account planning and ensuring ongoing client success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in leading complex technology or professional services delivery across multiple client engagements or accounts in consulting, systems integration, or similar environments.

• Proven experience in providing portfolio-level delivery oversight, identifying performance risks, and guiding suitable interventions in complex client engagements.

• Demonstrated financial and commercial acumen, including forecasting and managing financial performance while leveraging delivery and commercial insights for decision-making.

• Experience in overseeing resource, capacity, and capability planning in response to current and anticipated client demands, along with identifying suitable workforce strategies.

• Background in establishing delivery governance and assurance practices that foster consistent performance, risk management, and continuous improvement across various engagements.

• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior clients and internal stakeholders, contributing delivery insights to account and business planning.

• Established capability to lead through managers or senior delivery professionals, enhancing accountability, leadership skills, and succession across teams.
