Senior Defined Benefits Technical Lead Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Defined Benefits administration and LWConnect functionalities.

• Collaborate with Clients and Client Service Managers (CSM) on systemic changes, enhancements, requirements, and issue resolution.

• Coordinate efforts with OTS and other technology teams to guarantee the successful implementation of system changes.

• Convert Defined Benefits plan provisions and business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

• Support pension administration processes, including benefit calculations, eligibility assessments, participant data management, and adherence to plan rules.

• Lead the process of gathering requirements, analyzing impacts, enhancing systems, testing, and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Examine intricate system and data issues, conduct root cause analyses, and recommend viable solutions.

• Mentor Business Analysts and SMEs throughout the project lifecycle and deliverables.

• Create process flows, documentation of requirements, user guides, and training materials.

• Serve as a bridge between business operations, clients, and technology teams.

• Clearly communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Defined Benefits pension administration.

• Background in supporting pension or benefits administration systems.

• Strong proficiency as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Technical Analyst.

• Familiarity with Defined Benefits plan provisions, benefit calculations, eligibility criteria, and participant data management.

• Experience with requirements gathering, system modifications, testing, and UAT processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including capacity for root cause analysis.

• Proven experience working collaboratively across business and technical teams.

• Capability to work autonomously and manage complex assignments effectively.

• LWConnect experience is highly preferred.

• Prior experience as a Technical Lead or Defined Benefits SME is preferred.

• Experience in coordinating technology efforts with OTS or similar technical delivery teams is preferred.

• Familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization/reporting tools is advantageous.

• A college or university degree or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.
