Senior Debt Capital Markets, Development Finance Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist in a potential project focused on sustainable bond issuances, financial collaborations, and development finance in emerging markets.

• Participate in bond structuring, underwriting, issuance processes, and regulatory frameworks.

• Establish and oversee commercial partnerships among banks, development agencies, and governmental bodies.

• Interact with senior stakeholders in both the financial and public sectors.

• Foster partnerships with Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), commercial investors, guarantors, insurers, and both public and private financial entities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in debt capital markets (DCM).

• Proven experience with green, social, sustainability, and sustainability-linked bond issuances.

• Familiarity with bond structuring, underwriting, issuance processes, and regulatory frameworks.

• More than 10 years of experience in partnership structuring and relationship management.

• History of developing and managing commercial partnerships between banks, development agencies, and governmental entities.

• Experience in engaging senior stakeholders across the financial and public sectors.

• At least 10 years of experience in development finance within emerging markets.

• Track record of building partnerships with DFIs, commercial investors, guarantors, insurers, and public/private financial institutions.

• Experience with organizations such as IFC, MIGA, bilateral DFIs, and commercial banks.

• C1-level proficiency in English and German (fluent, near-native).

• A university degree in finance, business administration, mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Three professional references available to validate the aforementioned experience.

• Willingness and capability to travel (within Europe and emerging market countries).
