
Senior Dealer Relationship Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Promote OCCU's indirect lending products and services to dealership leaders and staff.
β’ Establish new partnerships with dealers and enhance existing relationships with franchise and independent dealerships.
β’ Create outreach strategies to increase dealer penetration and loan volume.
β’ Follow up on leads and referrals generated from field activities.
β’ Train dealership personnel on OCCU's expectations, procedures, guidelines, and contracts.
β’ Collaborate with dealers, underwriting, and Indirect Lending to ensure a seamless deal flow.
β’ Identify and report any dealer issues, misrepresentation, or compliance-related concerns.
β’ Maintain a comprehensive understanding of indirect lending regulations and compliance requirements.
β’ Conduct dealer visits and document outcomes daily in accordance with Dealer Management guidelines.
β’ Assist with marketing events, partnership initiatives, and necessary training sessions.
β’ Monitor competitor rates, market trends, and dealer performance to inform strategic planning.
β’ Address member, dealer, and branch disputes; promptly manage ServiceNow complaints.
β’ A minimum of 7-9 years of progressive leadership experience in dealership operations is required.
β’ Experience in roles such as Finance Director, General Sales Manager (GSM), General Manager (GM), Dealer Principal, or other senior dealership leadership positions is strongly preferred.
β’ Proven track record of success in leading dealership sales, finance, and operational performance.
β’ In-depth understanding of dealership profitability, desking, inventory management, F&I performance, lender relationships, and dealership sales processes.
β’ Extensive existing connections within the Texas automotive retail market are preferred.
β’ Ability to establish credibility with dealership ownership groups, executive leadership, finance directors, and sales leadership teams.
β’ Indirect lending experience is valued, but dealership leadership experience remains the primary qualification.
β’ Willingness to travel extensively across Texas and work evenings and weekends as necessary.
β’ Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record are required.
β’ A bachelor's degree is preferred.
