This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the launch, continuous relationship, engagement, and performance for a designated portfolio of lower-volume, rural, and geographically distributed dealer partners.
• Guide remote dealer launches from the initial handoff through to readiness, training, activation, and early adoption stages.
• Coordinate system access, align workflows, set up third-party integrations, and ensure dealer readiness requirements are met.
• Assist dealership leadership and frontline users in comprehending Upstart’s contribution to their lending strategy.
• Create adoption plans and integrate the program into sales and finance workflows.
• Utilize dealer activity and performance metrics to pinpoint growth opportunities, declining usage, and accounts that need support.
• Formulate dealership-specific engagement strategies employing targeted emails, phone outreach, virtual business reviews, automated reporting, and account plans.
• Collaborate with Sales, Risk, Product, and Operations teams to address dealer obstacles and escalate ongoing product or process issues.
• Keep comprehensive account documentation and share insights to enhance Upstart’s remote dealer management model.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in dealer relationship management, account management, customer success, dealer development, automotive retail, auto finance, indirect lending, or a similar client-facing role.
• Proven experience in launching, onboarding, implementing, or activating new customer or dealer partnerships.
• Proficiency in managing a portfolio of accounts and utilizing CRM systems, dashboards, spreadsheets, or reporting tools to track account activity and performance.
• Ability to leverage customer or account data to identify risks, prioritize outreach, and formulate adoption, growth, or recovery strategies.
• Experience in leading customer training, onboarding, performance evaluations, or strategic meetings in a remote setting.
• Strong knowledge of dealership sales and finance operations, indirect auto lending, lender strategies, and dealer account management practices.
• Capable of guiding dealership leadership, finance managers, and frontline users through new lender integration and workflow modifications.
• Proficient in analyzing dealer performance, application, lender activity, and utilization data to inform launch and account strategies.
• Experience in developing or utilizing automated reporting, email campaigns, portfolio alerts, or customer engagement workflows.
• Background in supporting rural, lower-volume, small-market, or geographically dispersed dealer partners and re-engaging underperforming accounts.
• Familiarity with RouteOne, Dealertrack, dealership CRM systems, credit-reporting providers, or similar automotive technologies.
• Must reside and work in the United States; Upstart is unable to hire in Quebec for Canada-based roles.
