This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of integrated project plans that encompass scope, schedule, cost, and dependencies.
• Manage the critical path and engage in scenario planning.
• Oversee budgets and forecasts; monitor expenditures, conduct variance analysis, and re-baseline as necessary.
• Assist with statements of work and manage change effectively.
• Lead risk mitigation strategies and resolve issues promptly.
• Control change management and document impacts on scope, cost, and timelines.
• Foster buy-in from client IT, data, and business stakeholders.
• Influence project timelines and challenge standard client IT practices.
• Choose and customize Stitch’s SEW delivery methodology based on the project context, client maturity, and team capabilities.
• Create project dashboards and automate reporting processes.
• Prepare executive updates that highlight risks.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies involving client IT, data engineering, security, and vendors.
• Uphold governance at the project level.
• Draft executive summaries, decision memos, steering committee presentations, and comprehensive delivery plans.
• Collaborate with Databricks practice leadership to establish repeatable project management standards.
• Manage billable hours to achieve targets of over 36 hours per week.
• Travel up to 20% for client meetings, workshops, and on-site engagements.
• Mastery of project management tools: setup, reporting, and maintenance in ClickUp, MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Selection and customization of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Ownership of budgets: forecasting, variance analysis, EAC, and burn monitoring.
• Responsibility for RAID: proactive risk modeling, mitigation planning, and structured issue identification.
• Change control expertise: defining scope boundaries, ensuring requirements traceability, and documenting assumptions.
• 2–5 years of experience delivering data platform, data integration, or enterprise IT projects, including Databricks, Snowflake, cloud data warehouses, or data pipelines.
• Proven experience in implementing or driving new solutions within client IT ecosystems.
• At least one full lifecycle implementation led or co-led from discovery to launch.
• Demonstrated ability to influence IT teams without direct authority.
• Enthusiasm for utilizing AI for efficient documentation, including tools like Gemini or Claude.
• Expertise in documentation: project charters, integrated plans, dependency maps, risk registers, go/no-go briefs, and closure reports.
• Knowledge of governance processes: stage gates, compliance checklists, audit logs, and PMO standards.
• 5–9 years of experience in project management consulting or relevant experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT or data consulting or relevant experience.
• Consulting or agency experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with marketing technology, such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe, or Oracle, is advantageous.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalents are a plus.
• Proven track record of managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Client-facing experience in an agency or consultancy setting is required.
• Knowledge of AI code editors like Cursor is a plus.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
