This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with partner Machine Learning and Product engineers, as well as Technical Program Managers, to define data and training needs.

• Ensure that datasets are curated, filtered, and processed to meet production-level machine-learning standards.

• Convert high-level project objectives into actionable data specifications for engineering and annotation teams.

• Uphold data integrity and guarantee that behavioral training datasets are accurate and representative.

• Connect raw data with high-quality machine-learning inputs to facilitate the development of robust, scalable models.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree or certification in Data Science or a related field in computational sciences.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience in a dynamic, high-growth technology setting.

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Scientist in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience in complex multidisciplinary industries such as robotics, streaming services, game development, search engines, or eCommerce.

• Proficiency in Python, Git, and using the Unix shell.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira/Confluence, Slack, a Git server, and an experiment tracking framework.

• Understanding of data visualization and inspection tools tailored for user behavior analysis.

• Strong grasp of data science fundamentals and a solid mathematical foundation.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring data accuracy.

• Ability to effectively collaborate across engineering disciplines to define and implement technical requirements.
