Staff Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop optimization analyses and forecasts for teams in Growth, Strategy, Revenue, Marketing, and Product.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to convert intricate analyses into actionable insights and process enhancements.

• Design counterfactual analyses and A/B testing for user experience, product features, and customer satisfaction.

• Create data applications that streamline and optimize sales and marketing workflows.

• Manage projects from inception to completion, including framing business inquiries, delivering models, and presenting recommendations.

• Work with the semantic layer and DBT models that support the AI-powered analytics infrastructure.

• Develop reusable data science frameworks, templates, and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in data science within a dynamic business environment.

• Practical experience with Snowflake, DBT, and business intelligence tools such as Sigma, Looker, Metabase, Omni, or equivalent.

• Proficient in SQL and statistical modeling techniques.

• Experience in developing forecasting and causal inference models.

• Strong affinity for documentation and Git version control.

• Understanding of scalable data models and shared semantic frameworks.

• Capable of managing projects across various cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Skilled in collaborative efforts through brainstorming, peer reviews, and rigorous idea evaluation.
