This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Act as the subject matter expert for a crucial marketing pillar and take direct responsibility for the domain area.
β’ Develop data products and algorithms that enhance budget allocation, targeting strategies, and the performance of multi-channel campaigns.
β’ Create and execute marketing measurement strategies, which include attribution modeling, incrementality analysis, and multi-touch attribution.
β’ Propel marketing strategy using data insights, A/B testing, and causal inference to optimize the return on investment for marketing expenditures.
β’ Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to build and maintain analytics pipelines and data infrastructure.
β’ Perform exploratory analyses to uncover growth opportunities, comprehend customer behavior, and refine marketing tactics.
β’ Deliver reporting, dashboards, and ad-hoc analytics assistance to marketing stakeholders.
β’ Utilize AI tools to efficiently manage operational tasks.
β’ Partner with Google, Meta, and other advertising platforms, as well as internal engineering teams, on tracking, data integration, and measurement.
β’ Work in conjunction with Growth, Product, Engineering, marketing stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists.
β’ Take ownership of projects from inception to completion, delivering straightforward and effective solutions.
β’ Strong understanding of digital marketing mechanics, including attribution, advertising platforms, tracking, and conversion optimization.
β’ Experience with lifecycle data and insights into how to engage both new and existing customers in a holistic manner.
β’ Proficient technical skills in Python and SQL, with experience in developing production-quality code.
β’ Proven experience in algorithm development, optimization challenges, or the creation of data-driven decision-making systems.
β’ Solid grounding in causal inference, A/B testing, and experimental design methodologies.
β’ Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Demonstrated accountability as the data Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) on intricate projects from start to finish.
β’ Capability to effectively utilize AI while offering strategic advice and critical thinking.
β’ Full-stack data science experience, encompassing everything from dashboards and reporting to advanced algorithm development.
β’ Ability to impact the strategic direction in marketing analytics from the outset with minimal onboarding time.
β’ Familiarity with marketing measurement, attribution, and incrementality.
β’ Flexibility to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and manage complex situations.
β’ Openness to teaching, learning, and receiving feedback.
β’ Experience in larger tech companies developing internal analytics and optimization systems is preferred.
β’ Must have legal eligibility to work in Canada.
