📋 Description

• Transform billing, revenue, and forecasting data into audit-ready figures and analyses that inform pricing and planning decisions.

• Take ownership of finance-related analyses, including revenue and ARR reconciliation, cohort and retention economics, and pricing and packaging experiments.

• Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to develop the certified finance KPI layer encompassing ARR, billing, and revenue.

• Detect and analyze any incorrect or inconsistent data.

• Create forecasting and scenario models utilized by FP&A for planning and board reporting purposes.

• Clarify ambiguous finance inquiries from FP&A, RevOps, and leadership, transforming them into clear and reusable analyses.

• Opportunity to expand into wider strategic finance or RevOps analytics and data leadership roles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a data scientist or analyst working closely with a Finance / FP&A function, preferably in a growth-stage or pre-IPO organization.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python.

• Experience reconciling data in Stripe, Salesforce, and a dbt-modeled warehouse.

• Financial fluency in ARR, billing, revenue recognition, and cohort economics.

• Strong focus on data quality and the ability to articulate variances.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with Finance leadership.

• Capability to challenge vague requests effectively.

• Ability to work within CET / ET time zones.

• Experience in preparing finance data for audits, SOX compliance, or IPO readiness is an advantage.

• Background in pricing/packaging experimentation or revenue forecasting in subscription or usage-based businesses is a plus.

• Familiarity with dbt or modern warehouses such as BigQuery is an advantage.
