Senior Data Scientist, Consultant II

📋 Description

• Spearhead the application of data and advanced analytics to inform decisions within Auto Claims.

• Design, implement, and oversee machine learning predictive modeling algorithms.

• Develop and code tools that leverage machine learning and predictive modeling for business decision-making.

• Identify and incorporate structured and unstructured internal and external data to enhance modeling and machine learning outcomes.

• Uncover solutions to business challenges utilizing machine learning and predictive modeling techniques.

• Manage projects of moderate complexity.

• Offer guidance and development support to junior data scientists.

• Construct models that address business requirements and enhance data accuracy and data-driven decision-making.

• Assess, analyze, and communicate modeling methodologies and findings to teams, leadership, and stakeholders.

• Collaborate on data-driven and complex business challenges, partnering to implement machine learning and predictive models.

• Investigate, assess, and integrate emerging modeling techniques and technologies.

• Strategically plan and decompose machine learning, predictive modeling, and development projects into actionable tasks while ensuring deadlines are achieved.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist.

• Proficient in developing intricate statistical and machine learning methodologies.

• Experience with predictive modeling and machine learning algorithms.

• Skilled in coding and creating machine learning/predictive modeling tools.

• Capability to research, assess, and implement emerging modeling techniques and technologies.

• Experience in project planning for moderately complex machine learning or development projects.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% to a regional office for team meetings.

• Must have a dedicated, private workspace when working remotely.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
