Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Gather, analyze, and interpret extensive datasets to derive valuable insights and aid in strategic decision-making.

• Create and execute statistical models and algorithms to address complex issues and predict trends.

• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover significant patterns, trends, and insights.

• Construct and maintain data pipelines to automate the processes of data ingestion, processing, and analysis.

• Generate data visualizations and reports to convey results and insights effectively.

• Work collaboratively with software engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to comprehend data analysis requirements and objectives.

• Assess and choose tools and technologies for data analysis and visualization.

• Stay updated on trends and advancements in data science and apply this knowledge to enhance the team's practices and methodologies.

• Prepare progress reports for the Client’s management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Technology disciplines, such as Computer Science, a Technology degree, Systems Analysis, or related fields.

• Preferred experience: 5 years working within application development teams.

• Experience with Data Intelligence projects in the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production industry.

• Familiarity and proficiency with the languages and technologies utilized in the work environment.

• Strong expertise in statistics, machine learning, and data visualization techniques.
