Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize Doximity's vast datasets to recognize and categorize behavioral trends of medical professionals on the platform

• Develop analytics for both products and clients

• Guide the data team's strategy by collaborating with product leaders and managers

• Engage in the execution and some planning of the organizational data team strategy

• Work alongside product managers, analysts, and developers to outline and spearhead data projects from data ingestion through analysis to actionable recommendations

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a data analyst or data scientist

• Strong understanding of statistical concepts, particularly exploratory data analysis techniques and probability theory

• Some familiarity with machine learning techniques (such as regressors and classifiers)

• Advanced SQL capabilities to construct and assess intricate statements involving multiple tables and data relationships

• Proficient in Python with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles as they pertain to data

• Knowledgeable in distributed data processing concepts and their implementation, including experience with column stores and using Spark

• Exceptional visualization and storytelling abilities to present findings and solutions to stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner
